We are a society based in the Department of Physics and Astronomy who welcome all new and returning physicists, as well as everyone who shares our passion for this subject. Physoc works to provide an active social side to the Physics degree course with lots of social and academic events throughout the year. This year we're excited to offer some returning favourites, most notably the end of year Physics Ball and drinks with lecturers, as well as a new trip abroad and talks from experts in the field - including our own University Chancellor! We also hold several non-drinking events, such as stargazing and movie nights, so look out for those - you are very welcome to join us regardless of whether you drink or not. If you want to speak with any of our committee members, you're more than welcome to contact us or give us a chat in person.
