WELCOME TO THE BUSINESS AND CORPORATE LAW SOCIETY!

Founded in 2024, the Business and Corporate Law Society (BACLS) is a student-led society at the University of Leicester dedicated to supporting students interested in business, corporate and commercial law.

We aim to provide students with the knowledge, skills and opportunities needed to explore careers in commercial law and related fields. Throughout the academic year, we host a range of events, including careers panels, workshops, firm presentations and skills sessions, giving members the opportunity to connect with legal professionals and gain valuable insights into the profession.

Through our events and resources, BACLS supports students in developing their commercial awareness, strengthening their applications and preparing for opportunities such as vacation schemes, training contracts and other legal careers.
