Join Our Postgraduate Network - A community for all postgraduate students

We are now recruiting committee members to help lead and organise network activities!

The Postgraduate Network (PG Network) is a student-led community bringing together postgraduate students, whether postgraduate taught (PGT) or postgraduate research (PGR), through social, academic and community-building events across the University. It aims to create opportunities for postgraduate students from different disciplines and stages of study to connect, build friendships and feel more engaged with postgraduate life at the University of Leicester.

• PG Network is currently chaired by our Education Officer and PGR Officer, and supported by 2 PGR students as vice-chairs
• We are hoping to recruit up to 8 new members joining us in organising activities for their peers; PGT students are highly encouraged to join
• You must be a Postgraduate (PGT/PGR) student during the academic year 2026/27 to apply. 
• Applications are open until October or when all positions are filled
• The role is voluntary, but we will be able to provide a confirmation certificate at the end of the year to recognise your contribution
