Citizens of Change Summer Internship Programme 2026 – now open!

Applications are now open for the Citizens of Change Summer Internship Programme 2026, offering 16 students 12 unique internship opportunities across University departments. This is a paid, 6-week programme designed to provide meaningful work experience alongside employability development.

This year the programme is specifically for disabled and neurodivergent students and those with long-term physical or mental health conditions to support the aims of the University and its Access and Participation Plan.

• Duration: Monday 15th June 2026 – Friday 24th July 2026 (6-weeks)
• Hours: 25 hours per week (part-time) 
• Pay: National Living Wage 
• Delivery: Virtual, on-campus and hybrid opportunities available
